Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Come volunteer with the Watershed Stewards Program and the Northcoast Regional Land Trust at the Freshwater Farms Reserve and help improve riparian and stream habitat in a community space. This is a Watershed Awareness Volunteer Event so please help us bring our community together to engage in environmental stewardship in our local places. We will be removing invasive plants along Freshwater Slough so bring a water bottle, long pants/shirt, sunscreen, hat, closed-toed shoes, and a jacket. All tools will be provided. A lunch will be provided too!
