Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Venturing north from "The City," Jason Martinez, Horticulturist at SF's Strybing Botanical Garden for the past 12 years, will provide the program for the Thursday, Mar. 22, meeting of the local Rhody Society at the Eureka Woman's Club, 1531 J Street, 7 p.m. His particular job is caring for the Rhododendron, Mediterranean, Asian, and Ancient Plant Gardens.
