Chris West, biologist for the Yurok tribe, presents information on the California condor (Pre-go-neesh) biology, history of the declines, and the current conservation program. He will explain the cultural importance of condors to the Yurok and other tribes in the Pacific Northwest and will give an overview of what the Yurok Tribe has been doing to prepare for the return of condor to the Yurok homeland, including the necessary steps that need to be taken to bring this incredible species back to the Northcoast. Donations Appreciated.
