Re: “The $10 Million Dash

I know the Halvorsen site. It will take more than a little creative zoning to keep the OD clinic from becoming a problem to the surrounding area. With the Burre shopping center to panhandle at, the Silvercrest residence providing slow and weak elders for predation, the protected area adjacent will become similar to what you find behind the Bayshore Mall. The indigent, homeless and others that this society turns out onto the street need their healthcare too, but providing a little "exercise path" to step off from after being directed to the area will be a de facto invitation to take up permanent residence until those resultantly predated become intolerant of the fear and filth. Other than that, it is a super location for just such a thing. Were the facility to be designed with consideration for the encroachment and illegal habitation that is bound to occur, it could work well, but if such realities are swept under a carpet of rhetoric and ignored, it will easily overburden a marginal situation and leave little to the area that residents would care to reside in.
