Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Sanctuary Forest and Lost Coast Interpretive Association are teaming up again with California State Parks for the third year in a row to remove French broom and other invasive species in the Sinkyone Wilderness State Park! Hand tools may not necessary for the smaller plants, but if you have a favorite tool, go ahead and bring it. Some hand tools and weed wrenches will be provided. Please bring a lunch, water and gloves. Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes. Contact us to RSVP. Meet at the Sanctuary Forest office at 9am on Sunday, October 27 to carpool—we'll return by 2pm.
