Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Procession of Día de los Muertos 2019

When: Sat., Nov. 2, 5:30 a.m. 2019
Centro del Pueblo invites you to our traditional Procession of Día de Los Muertos from Fortuna to Eureka. In 2019 we'll walk to honor the memory of our Indigenous Immigrant community members, especially Women and Children that have died in the detention centers and at the border. Indigenous leaders from the North and South will guide our route. At 5:30 AM we'll reunite at St. Joseph Catholic Church to start walking during the sunrise, we'll arrive at Eureka Labor Temple (840 E St) at 3 PM where there will be a Community Altar. Join us to honor our ancestors, our traditions, our Immigrant Indigenous relatives, and all our Relations.
