Preventing Meth Tragedies Discussed at Lifetree Café

Practical ways to prevent meth use will be offered at Lifetree Café on Sunday, May 22 at 7 p.m. The program, titled “Meth: Stories of Horror and Hope,” features a filmed interview with Cindy Gray, a woman who lost a son due to methamphetamine use. “The minute my son tried it, that was the end,” Gray says. “He eventually had to go to using a needle to get that next high.”   ccable@group.com This Lifetree program also features a filmed interview with a young man who became addicted to meth but found hope and escaped his addiction. Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Café is located on the corner of Union and 13th St., Arcata at Campbell Creek Connexion. Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversation about life and faith in a casual, comfortable setting.
