September 7th is California Biodiversity Day! This year, State Parks will be hosting a Bioblitz at Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park from 8am - 4pm with Redwood Parks Conservancy and the National Parks Service. Join natural resource experts in a mad dash to identify species using the iNaturalist App and help us capture a snapshot of biodiversity in the park! Registration opens at 8am for off site day trips, orientation starts at 9am, and the official BioBlitz begins at 10am. Be sure to download the iNaturalist App before the event so you’ll be ready.
