I was wondering if the person who did the "hooker" act was transexual or a crossdresser. Did you ask? And I am confused by the author's use of (s)he for a pronoun. Usually one uses sie, or, even more accurate, ask the person what pronoun is preferred. I am surprised that a reporter covering a sex-positive even didn't get that important detail right.
I am pleased that the reported enjoyed the event long enough to stay until morning. It was, indeed a great event, and something Humboldt County can be proud that enough people cared to bring it about.
