The stellar sounds of Planet 4 will fill Cecil's New Orleans Bistro this Friday July 17th. Vocalisit Beth Wells has an wide and expressive range; she mixes it up with jazz standards, funk and Latin grooves, blues and fusion-inflected originals. Tight, inventive instrumentals are provided by keyboardist and trumpeter Andy Barnett, trombonist Jimmy Durchslag, percussionist Orlando Morales and bassist Peter Weissman. This band is a lot of fun--you will be drawn into their musical orbit. Music starts at 7:30.
