On Monday January 27th from 3-6PM, the Gyppo Ale Mill will be raising a few pints and some cash for the Environmental Protection Information Center better known as EPIC! EPIC advocates for the protection and restoration of Northwest California’s forests, using an integrated, science-based approach, combining public education, citizen advocacy, and strategic litigation. Their dedication to protecting public lands including state and national parks has been ongoing since their inception in 1977. EPIC’s goal is to defend the natural heritage of the North Coast. monitor timber harvest plans, urge logging companies to practice sustainable forestry and try to prevent damage.
