Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Paddle Out For Peace

When: Sun., June 14, 8:30 a.m. 2020
All welcome. On land or in water. Join the surfing and outdoor community for a paddle out in memory and remembrance of the many Black lives that have been unjustly taken at the hands of the police. The paddle out will be held at Twaya't, the North Jetty on the bay side breakwater next to the Coast Guard Station. A donation jar will be available with all funds split between Black Humboldt, Eureka NAACP, NCIDC, Campaign Zero and Black Girls Surf. Respect social distancing and bring a mask, food and water.
