Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Dr. Lowell Diller, senior biologist at Green Diamond Resource Company and adjunct professor at the Department of Wildlife at Humboldt State.

In 2013 the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service authorized the experimental removal of Barred Owls from four study areas in the Pacific Northwest as a means to benefit threatened Northern Spotted Owls.
