Out of the Sea opening reception

SCRAP Humboldt and the Ink People invite the public to collect plastic during summer beach strolls and reclaim bits from the recycle bin to create art pieces for their joint exhibition Out of the Sea. This exhibition challenges artists to create ocean themed artwork made from plastics to be displayed in August at the Brenda Tuxford Gallery in Eureka. Prizes will be awarded to juniors, adults and the group entries. This is the art opening for the exhibition August 3rd during Arts Alive This exhibition is open to makers of all ages and to groups as well.
