A painted female otter carrying a baby otter on her back created by artist Terry Hill and named Sequoyah was among the 32 otters up for Saturday's live silent auction. It was placed on the first floor of the Friday Pre-Auction Public Viewing at the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center.

So-Hum artist Jennifer Amidi stopped by for one last look at her "Anahita the Painted Otter" at Friday's Pre-Auction Public Viewing of all 100+painted otter sculptures at the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center. "I wish I had created two of these mosaic otters so I could keep one for myself," said Amidi.
