Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Redwood Region Audubon Society will host Aldaron Laird, Co-Chair of Humboldt State University’s Sea Level Rise Initiative, as he presents the sea-level rise vulnerability assessments for Humboldt Bay, and his mapping of the bay’s shoreline. The landscape scale changes posed by sea-level rise will have a profound effect on Humboldt Bay’s natural habitats and land use. Alexa DeJoannis will describe how these changes might affect Humboldt Bay bird populations in particular. Refreshments at 7pm. Program begins at 7:30pm.
