With the shrinking of the cannabis economy, diversifying Humboldt's economic base is of utmost importance all us living here. Thank you for highlighting another piece of our local economy that most people don't realize we have. But, it seems to me this article missed an opportunity to help support local agriculture by failing to mention award wining Sauvignon Blancs made from Humboldt County Grown grapes. Not to mention the tradition that what grows together goes together and we also have home grown Oyster that pair perfectly with Humboldt County Grown Sauvignon Blanc.
