Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Native Plant Walk

When: Sat., April 11, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. 2015

Join the California Native Plant Society and Northcoast Regional Land Trust for an interpretive walk through meadows, wetlands, and estuary where you will see thriving clumps of the rare Lyngbye's Sedge, lush leaves of the dramatic Coastal Angelica and two species of arrowgrass. Get out for Native Plant Week and come to see how botanically invaded bottomlands can be restored to a tidal marsh of diverse native plants. Park parallel to the road near the barn and meet at The Farmstand. No RSVP required. Rain or shine. The walk is approximately one mile; boots are advisable.
