Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Celebrate National Public Lands Day at the Ma-le'l Dunes Unit of Humboldt Bay Wildlife Refuge. Volunteer and help restore coastal dune habitat by removing invasive, non-native yellow bush lupine. Wear long sleeves, long pants and closed- toe shoes. Take Young Lane off Hwy 255 in Manila/Arcata and follow the signs. We’ll provide tools, gloves and lunch. Please RSVP so we have enough food.
