Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Mysore Yoga Traditions Film Screening

When: Sat., Feb. 24, 6-7:30 p.m. 2018
Phone: 825-9642
Price: $5-$15 sliding scale donation
Mysore, India is the birthplace of modern yoga. This film is an intimate inquiry into the philosophy and cultural evolution of yoga. Much has been said about yoga in the west. Now, the yogis of Mysore-the stalwarts of this sacred art-speak freely about their own vibrant legacy. In April 2016, Joey and Kelly, stewards of Om Shala, traveled to Mysore to co-produce this bold and visually stunning film, which is now beginning to make waves in the worldwide yoga community. Film will be screened at Om Shala Yoga and will be followed by a short discussion and vegan dahl.
