It would have been a judge who granted the release, pursuant a request from the defense attorney. It's true, the DA's office could (and may have) oppose the motion, but it's not up to the DA's office to say yay or nay. Judges do that.
NVB sent me a letter telling me I can opt-OUT of the "overdraft protection" if I want, which is, I believe, contrary to the law, but whatever.
The Matt The Electrician show was actually last night.
One small correction: KHUM's Larry Trask DID, in fact, run for Mayor Of Ferndale. While some might say Trask lost that particular race to Ferndale's current mayor Jeff Farley, others argue that Trask was the true winner in the sense that he didn't have to be mayor of Ferndale.
I, too, would like to see a theater with a large crying room. In fact, now that I think about it, let's have crying rooms in every public facility. Restaurants with crying rooms, auto dealers with crying rooms, museums with crying rooms, libraries, tobacco shops, banks, etc. Does anyone know the phone number for The Palace? I cry almost every time I go there.
Lactose Interrogatory (that's for when we reach the the trial stage)
Re: “Seven Revelations From Rob Arkley”
I love this idea and have since I first heard Arkley talk about it months ago. It's not exactly a nuclear power plan but owning a railroad gets Arkley just a bit closer to morphing into Mr. Burns, which, let's face it, we all want that. Maybe as soon as the last mile of track has been laid and prime Humboldt Brand redwood boards are being shipped en masse to hungry consumers everywhere, Arkley could look into entering the slurry business?
