Jessi Von Floto and Diedre Pike, two local ceramic artists and Fire Arts members, will be exhibiting their fantastical clay creatures at the Fire Arts Gallery during October. They will be hosting a reception during Arts! Arcata, Friday October 14, 4-8pm. Fire Arts, 520 S. G Street in Arcata, across from the Arcata Marsh Interpretative Center, has been teaching ceramics and fused glass skills and providing studio space and kiln firing services to the local community since 2000.
