Re: “Unequal Opportunities

Change needs to start with ourselves and our own families! We all need to be "color brave" ( by standing up for equal rights and against these abuses. There are many ways to stand up for what is right. If you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. We don't have to accept the poor attitudes and actions of kids and adults that act this way, like uneducated, ignorant sheep that go along with other like them. Think about what is going on and seek the truth. Educate yourselves and act better.

My wife and I are white parents of a black child, our very inteligent, talented and compassonate daughter. She is finishing HS with a 4.0 from one of the best private schools in our country. I am proud to say that she will make this world a better place by contributing to it in a positive way, just like many other black people. Just like many other people, nomatter what their skin color is.

These people need to understand that we have all benefitted in many ways from the contributions of hundreds of thousands of black people, and let go of the misdirected hatred that they have. They need to know that hate will harm themselves and others. Think about ISIS and other groups like them that discriminate against others! Think about it!!!!!

Please, this is the 21st century, lets rise above this ignorance and be "color brave".
