Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Madsummer

When: Oct. 5-8, 8 p.m. and Sun., Oct. 9, 2 p.m.
Price: $20, $15 students/seniors
A very free, jukebox musical adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream with all of the lovers over the age of 60, set in a care home during a pandemic with the underpaid staff of the home like Cirque on steroids. It is a raucous theatrical event about love and aging in the time of COVID. Masks are recommended, not required, for this 90-minute production without an intermission.
