Eureka artist Lorna Brown has been a graphic designer and illustrator for 35 years. She also plays accordian with SqueezeBug and teaches "Yoga for Stiff People" at the Adorni Center in Eureka. She is "a squeezer and a painter. Sometimes she squeezes tubes of paint. Sometimes she paints accordions. Is she confused? Yes. Is she happy? Yes." Holly Sweet calls her art genre Deep Cute! Her work is often craft, and almost always useful. "Useful objects that have humor and joy jump out of me. The pieces often tell a story or have a story."
