My heart is breaking, thinking of that beautiful young man who was at the wrong place, and sadly he was killed,. My Grandson is attending HSU & he is racially mixed have we sent him to the right school in the wrong location? Racism is not what we even thought about when we decided along with my precious Grandson that this could/would be an issue??? Why was a knife brought to a party??? My sincere condolences to the Parents & Family & friends of this beautiful young man. Those words seem so insignificant to this family that struggled & prayed for their son to go forward with his life. Lets pray for this Family to stay strong. We send our young adults to Humboldt to further their education, please Humboldt University ask your students to come up with a safety plan for all of the students. More lights, cameras all over campus, hallways, car parks. The buddy system not walking alone, plan how you will get safely to your cars for a evening class. Talk to the Police department for ideas. A Very Caring Grandma for all students...
