Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
Practical and fun ways to add excitement and adventure to your world will be explored
Lifetree Café on Sunday, December 13 at 7 p.m.
The program, titled “Pursuing an Audacious Life: Inspiration From a Man Who’s Traveled
to Every Country,” features a filmed interview with Chris Guillebeau, an author who set a
goal to travel to all 193 countries in the world and did so in 10.5 years.
Guillebeau first developed the dream while working as an aid worker in Western Africa.

“Once I had this idea, it felt totally crazy, but I couldn’t stop thinking about it,” says
Guillebeau. “I knew if I didn’t pursue it, I would always regret it. I saw it as a challenge,
and I knew I had to try it.”
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Lifetree Café is located at Campbell Creek
Connexion on the corner of Union and 13th St., Arcata.
