While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Liberation March

When: Sat., Feb. 20, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. 2021
Part of HC Black Music and Arts Association's Harambee Liberation Month activities. Wear white and black, bring your candles and instruments. More info will be provided on Facebook. If you would like to sign up to speak about a icon, legion, artist or activist come to the blue tent between 9:00-9:30am and add your name to the list. At 12:00 community participants can join the Liberation March with musical instruments to the County Court house. There will be a candle/flower station for those who would like to honor their love one that have passed on. In honor of those lost souls we will take a moment of silence and will end with a community participants singing a remembrance song.
