Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

HSU history professor Dr. Leena Dallasheh hosts a screening of Capernaum (2018). A 12-year-old boy living in Beirut runs away from his neglectful family, commits a violent crime and is consequently sentenced to years in jail. He chooses to sue his parents for the tumultuous life that he has had to endure. His story is telling of the traumatic experience of many immigrants and refugees living in political turmoil in the Middle East.
