The Latin Peppers, the hot local salsa band, returns to Cecil's in Garberville on Saturday, December 9. The Peppers play high energy Latin dance music and are always a treat. Led by Jimmy Durchslag on trombone, who also does the arrangements. the group includes local percussion master Orlando Morales on timbales, his brother Arnie Morales on congas, Jennifer Dominick on keyboards and Lee Phillips on bass. The Latin Peppers repertoire ranges from John Coltrane to Tito Puente, Eddie Palmieri, Buena Vista Social Club and Mongo Santamaria, all with an irresistible rhythm that gets people moving.
