Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
Starting with family-friendly silent short films by Charlie Chaplin before the main event, A Spark in Nothing, by local filmmaker Griffin Lock. Filmmaker Lock will host a Q and A following the screening and the event will also feature a silent auction. Attendees are advised to show promptly for a dinner of buffalo wings, baked potatoes, salads, popcorn and treats, along with non-alcoholic spritzers, blended drinks and beer.
Bring a blanket and lawn chair and enjoy movies at the KMUD studios, 1144 Redway Drive in Redway on a fine summer night under the stars with friends and family.
