"Articulate" or no, Brennan's letter consisted entirely of deflection, straw men, dog whistles, self-victimization, and outright insults. Not really something that should be praised.

I'd say that he's "working towards peace" to about the same degree as you are in this letter. And all I'm seeing from you is a mishmash of schoolyard insults and ad hominem tu quoque (or, to put it in simpler terms, "I know you are but what am I" presented as an argument).
And then, there's the utter credulity regarding the word of someone who's repeatedly proven himself to be fundamentally and abjectly dishonest. Really: anyone who still sincerely believes any of what you've claimed here would have to be deeply in denial.

Also? Playing the "sore losers" card just makes you look petulant. (Not to mention self-unaware, in light of how the right behaved after both of Pres. Obama's wins.)

You complain about the opposition supposedly expecting everyone to agree with them...when this entire little screed of yours is nothing but an attack on a straw representation of eveyone who disagrees with you. In fact (at least, when you're not taking a break to fawn over your king and his court, or to spout the dog-whistle appeals to xenophobia that you favored right before the mid-terms): that describes most of the reams and reams of opinion that you contribute to the NCJ mailbox.
As such: your lack of self-awareness is frankly staggering. (Also: red-baiting went out with baggy neon jackets.)
