A special jazz ensemble returns to Cecil's New Orleans Bistro on Thursday, December 14. Featuring some of the county's top musicians, the Jimmy D jazz quartet includes Jimmy Durchslag on trombone, Michael Curran on drums, Tim Randles on piano and Lee Phillips on bass. All of them have played together in bands such as Ponche, Latin Peppers, Humboldt Time and more. Ruby Guillette, a sparkling local talent, will join the band to sing a few tunes. Always enjoyable and fun, the group plays lots of jazz favorites and upbeat tunes. Music starts at 7:30.
