Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Cal Poly Humboldt Department of Dance, Music, and Theatre Presents. The evening’s program, entitled “Flow My Tears,” includes music that reflects on love and loss, and expresses the beauty in both. Guitarist Jennifer Trowbridge will begin the program with compositions by Bach, Couperin, Scarlatti, Weiss, and Sagreras. “It’s a celebration of the versatility of the guitar..." Tenor David Powell joins Jennifer for the second half of the program to perform songs that range from English Renaissance lute-songs by John Dowland to traditional Scottish and Irish ballads. A highlight will be the 20th-century Brazilian aria by Heitor Villa-Lobos from his collection of pieces inspired by Bach called Bachianas Brasileiras.
