JD Jeffries CD Release

JD Jeffries is hosting a show at Westhaven Center for the Arts top of the hill Westhaven Drive for his "Through The Years" CD Release event. It will be held Saturday evening August 13, from 7 - 10 PM. Helping him celebrate will be some great musicians and acts. For starters lead singer/lead guitarist extraordinare of the popular classic rock and dance band "Taxi" Dennis Doiron will partner with JD and maybe others for some great classic songs for which they've both spent many years performing. Dennis is on 5 tracks of the CD from JD's 3 year stint with the band from 1996, when they changed from the Willow Creek Band to Taxi, to 1999. Also performing is the acapella singing group "Sweet Harmony" who has performed around the Humboldt area for awhile. Also on board is harpist/singer/songwriter Howdy Emerson. He and JD play together sometimes at the Trinidad Art Gallery for which they both are members of the co-op. His trio with guitarist/singer/songwriter Devin Paine and bassist/singer Teri Lockhart. Admission is the usual WCA's $5 - $15 sliding scale.
