Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
The City of Arcata Environmental Services Department is thrilled to invite community members on a guided ecology hike through Jacoby Creek Forest to learn more about its beautiful trees, plants & wildlife. Jacoby Creek Forest is normally closed to the public, so take advantage of this rare opportunity that only comes once a year! Participation is limited to 25 to 30 hikers, so please call 707-822-8184 or send an email to eservices@cityofarcata.org to reserve your space.
