Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Ivy Bash at South end of Scenic Drive in Trinidad

When: Sat., March 12, 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. 2016
Phone: 707-834-4499
Price: Free
Help the Trinidad Coastal Land Trust knock-back the ivy on our newest holding at the south end of Scenic Drive/north bank of the Little River (at the cul de sac just south of the Moonstone Beach trunoff). Ivy has been growing unchecked on this site for decades, and we are beginning the process of removing this and other invasive plant species. Light snacks, water and some hand-tools will be provided. Much of the ground is pretty steep and will be wet from recent rains, so this is not the best event for children.
