The public and members of HCHS are invited to the 61 st annual luncheon to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Society on Sunday, October 2 nd at 12:30-2:30pm at the historic Eureka Veterans Memorial Building. The Society was founded in 1947 to collect, preserve and make accessible, the unique documentary heritage of our North Coast community. We want to celebrate our shared commitment to this work, and especially to honor and recognize our members, who are so vitally important to the Society’s mission! To commemorate this event, past HCHS president Arlene Hartin will speak about the history of the Society from its founding on through to today. Tickets may be purchased for $50.00 each by calling our bookstore at (707) 445-4342 or online. at: https://humboldthistory.org.
