"Simple Gifts" is the theme of the HSU Symphonic Band concert, under the direction of Paul Cummings. Each work on the program is a widely performed classic of the concert band repertoire, and is also meant to be a simple and timeless gift to our audience during the holiday season. The traditional and straight-forward compositional style will be heightened by the famous 19th century tune of "Simple Gifts" which is prominently featured in the stunning "Chorale and Shaker Dance."
