Plus, the scenes from The Magic Flute, an opera that was meant to be fun, popular entertainment in it's time, will be sung in the English translation, so that the audience does not miss a word of the clever libretto and lyrics. Performing the work will be HSU Vocal Performance majors, current Music majors and alumni, majors in English and Biology, as well as a major Theatre, Film, and Dance, including sopranos Helen Kimber and Haley Rhoualt, mezzo-sopranos Stella Yuan and Madeline Bauman, alto Maude Jaeb, tenors Samuel Brown and Victor Guerrero, baritones Brandon Barbosa and Christian Rosales, and bass-baritone Dylan Kinser.
