Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Humboldt State University’s Goudi’ni Native American Arts Gallery invites you to this exhibition that display graduation sashes worn by Native American alumni during their HSU Commencement ceremonies. In celebration of the Centennial, the Goudi’ni Gallery recognizes the sashes presented to Native American HSU graduates since 1997. The sashes honor the students by giving them a gift that highlights their academic achievements engaged in clubs and programs such as ITEPP, the PowWow committee, the American Indian Alliance, and the Indian Natural Resources Science and Engineering Program. The exhibition runs Sept. 26-Oct. 12 and is open during gallery hours: Monday-Wednesday noon-5pm, Thursday noon-7pm, Friday noon-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
