Rabbi Naomi Steinberg will lead a Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) memorial service in memory of the six million Jews and others who perished in the Holocaust. There will be prayers of remembrance and songs by the Temple Beth El Choir led by Rabbi Naomi. The evening will feature a new film, “One Immigrant's Story,” about the life of congregant Marianne Pennekamp, Holocaust survivor. Following the showing of the film, there will be a discussion with Marianne, her son Peter Pennekamp and film makers Joy Hardin and Amy Uyeki.
