Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Halloween Carnival

When: Mon., Oct. 31, 6:30-8:30 p.m. 2022
Phone: (707) 840-0100
Price: Free
The Dows Prairie Grange is hosting a free Halloween carnival for children 12 and under on Monday, Oct. 31 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. This will be their 25th year hosting this annual McKinleyville event although the previous two years during Covid, the Grange hosted a drive-thru event for the kids. There will be lots of carnival games, a witch’s kitchen cooking up spooky popcorn, fortune telling, photo opportunities as well as lots of candy and prizes. Community members are encouraged to bring canned food or other non-perishables to support Grange’s holiday food basket program to serve those in need.
