Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces."
COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.
The Lifetree event, titled "Inside the Gun Debate: To Hunt? To Defend? To Assault?" features filmed interviews with Tom Mauser, whose son died at Columbine High School, and Michael Lang, a concealed weapon firearms instructor.
Lifetree representative Craig Cable said participants will have the opportunity to hear various viewpoints and to offer their own. "This is a community forum for open discussion," Cable said.
This Lifetree program is being offered at Lifetree Café locations across the country as a means to inform citizens and find answers to the questions surrounding gun issues, Cable said.
Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Snacks and beverages are available.
