Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Fun, Games & Lies: Critical Listening at Presidential Debates

When: Wed., June 26, 5:30 p.m. and Thu., June 27, 5:30 p.m. 2019
Price: Free admission
Laugh, snicker, scoff and learn at “Fun, Games & Lies,” two free debate watching parties presented by the non-partisan North Coast People’s Alliance (NCPA). Yes, there will be beer. Yes, there will be snark. Yes, there will be real information and tools for separating glib garbage from meaningful change. Come play “Dodge and Spin Bingo” with NCPA, then cast your ballots for “slimiest,” “most inspiring,” “least likely to become president” and much more. Co-sponsored by the local NAACP and by Centro Del Pueblo. Doors at 5, political satire at 5:30, debate broadcast and games begin at 6.
