Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Friends of the Library Book Sale

When: Sat., Sept. 12, 1-4 p.m. 2015
On Saturday, Sept 12th from 1-4pm there will be lots of Horsing-Around at the Friends of the McKinleyville Library monthly used book sale. We have a large selection of Horse-themed books including non-fiction and fiction, for both adults and children including classics like Black Beauty and older favorites. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth as our new arrivals table is loaded with an updated assortment of great books along with our usual selections of mysteries, westerns, biographies, humor, music and craft books, history, fantasy, healthcare/pregnancy and general fiction. Our sale is run entirely by volunteers and all proceeds benefit the McKinleyville Library. Donations of used books in good condition are always appreciated. Bring them to the sale on Saturday or into the McKinleyville Library during open hours. Due to space limitations and other factors, not all books can be accepted.
