Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

The North Coast Community Garden Collaborative will be hosting a free pruning workshop at Abuelita's Demonstration Garden. We are happy to announce that local fruit tree expert Dick Hansis will be leading the class. We will cover basic fruit tree pruning techniques, soil health and mycorrhizae, blueberry pruning and more. The garden has multiple apple trees (including an espalier), pears and a long row of blueberries to work with. Bring warm clothes, water and a mug for tea and coffee. Warm drinks and snack will be provided!
