The Humboldt Food Policy Council in partnership with United Indian Health Services, Inc. is excited to host the upcoming Food as Medicine Conference. This event is intended for medical providers, nutrition and health educators, and food system advocates. Participants will learn from and engage with diverse speakers addressing topics that center the importance of healthful, culturally-affirming, and appropriately produced foods as a key tool to achieving positive and equitable health outcomes. A local, seasonal lunch is included. More information about keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and the optional Saturday tour of local programs is available on the event Facebook page.
