Heads up, Humboldt:
While the county's masking mandate has been lifted, Public Health is still strongly recommending masking indoors in public, social distancing and "avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces." COVID-19 is still with us, so be sure to check the protocols at event venues.

Family Literacy Night

When: Wed., April 19, 6:30 p.m. 2017
Humboldt Literacy Project and the Eureka Main Library present Family Literacy Night on Wednesday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Eureka Main Library. Storyteller Sean Powers and His Shadow Puppets will be sure to delight the entire family. The magic Sean weaves with light and shadow will keep you mesmerized until the very end. A free book is given to every child in attendance at the end of the performance. These books are generously donated by Tin Can Mailman. The evening's performance is funded by First 5 Humboldt. Humboldt Literacy Project is a nonprofit dedicated to nourishing the love of literacy. We provide free confidential tutoring to adults in our community. The Eureka Library is located at 1313 Third St. in Eureka. To learn more about your local library visit
