Humboldt Literacy Project and the Eureka Main Library proudly present Family Literacy Night
featuring Carpathian the Gentle Ghoul on Wednesday, March 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Eureka Main
Library, 1313 Third St. Come and enjoy Irish ghost stories! Each story has a special shivery thrill
when told by Carpathian, the wandering specter of Humboldt County, a beloved storyteller who
knows how to entrance his audience of any age. Storytelling is an old tradition that goes hand in
hand with our goal of encouraging literacy. Each child in attendance will receive a free book at the
end of the presentation. Books are generously donated by Tin Can Mailman. For more
